(Eagle News)–A 4.4-magnitude earthquake struck Northern Samar on Saturday, Oct. 26.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit two kilometers southeast of Lope de Vega at 7:37 a.m.
Depth of focus was 90 kilometers.
The following intensities were recorded:
Intensity III – Lope de Vega, Catarman and Mondragon, Northern Samar
Intensity II – San Roque and Pambujan, Northern Samar
No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.
