(Eagle News)–The Palace on Monday, Oct. 7, said the drop in the approval rating of President Rodrigo Duterte is not at all a cause for concern.
Presidential Spokesperson Salvador Panelo said the 78 percent registered by Duterte in the latest Pulse Asia survey is, after all, “still high.”
“Surveys fluctuate depending on when they get them. If it is taken at a time when there are controversies hounding, it may affect the survey results,” he added.
Pulse Asia said the survey conducted from September 16 to 22 took place amid the good conduct time allowance, the hazing incident in the Philippine Military Academy, among others.
Of the high-ranking officials covered by the survey, only Chief Justice Lucas Bersamin saw a rise in his approval rating from his rating in June.
