(Eagle News)–President Rodrigo Duterte registered a 78 percent rating in September, seven points lower than the rating he got in June, a Pulse Asia survey said.

According to the survey, 8 percent disapproved of Duterte, while 14 percent were undecided.

Of the highest-ranking officials included in the survey, only Chief Justice Lucas Bersamin got a rating higher than the previous rating he got, or 42%.

Senate President Tito Sotto’s and Vice President Leni Robredo’s ratings also dropped from their ratings in June–from 77 percent to 72 percent, and from 55 percent to 50 percent, respectively.

Speaker Alan Peter Cayetano, who was included for the first time as speaker in the survey, got a 64 percent approval rating.

The survey was conducted from September 16 to 22, 2019 using face-to-face interviews of 1,200 adults aged 18 years old and above.

The survey has a ± 2.8% error margin at the 95% confidence level.
