Philippine Military Academy 4th Class Cadet Darwin Dormitorio, who allegedly died due to injuries sustained from hazing, was buried early this morning in his hometown in Cagayan de Oro with full military honors.
A huge crowd comprising of his kin and close friends attended the burial.
Also present was the wife of Interior Secretary Eduardo Año and other PMA officials.
Family and friends of the late cadet couldn’t help but shed tears and get emotional as they bid their farewells.
Dexter Dormitorio, brother of the victim, was pleased, however, with what he said was the speedy probe into his death.
The Dormitorio family also expressed hope there would be no whitewash.
Autorities have identified three suspects in his death.
On Tuesday, Sept. 24, PMA superintendent Ronnie Evangelista stepped down, citing command responsibility.
