(Eagle News)–Classes on Tuesday, Sept. 3, were suspended in at least one area due to the bad weather:
- Angeles City, Pampanga — pre-elementary to elementary (public and private)
Signal No. 1 remains hoisted over Batanes as Tropical Storm “Liwayway” intensified further.
The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said “Liwayway” is likely to develop into a severe tropical storm within 24 hours.
