Senator-elect Ronald dela Rosa had this to say when asked about his opinion on the recent allegations made by Peter Joemel Advincula against the Liberal Party, Senator Antonio Trillanes and other opposition figures.
In an interview over CNN Philippines, Dela Rosa said he would “defer” to the proper authorities for his assessment.
Dela Rosa, however, emphasized what he said was the “spontaneity” of Advincula during his press conference on Thursday, May 23, when he said Trillanes and LP, among others, were behind the “Ang Totoong Narco-list” videos against President Rodrigo Duterte, his family and some of his allies.
During the press conference, Advincula, who claimed he was the “Bikoy” in the videos, also said everything that was said in them were “lies.”
“Ayoko sabihin (opinyon ko). Kayo na bahala. Pero very spontaneous yan as compared to the very scripted na di nagpapakita ng mukha (sa “Bikoy” videos),” Dela Rosa said.
“Ang aking advice ay look at this revelation objectively..Tignan natin ano talaga motive niya sa paglantad,” Dela Rosa, a former PNP chief, added.
