(Eagle News)–The Commission on Elections is expected to convene as the National Board of Canvassers today, May 13.
But the NBOC will be adjourned right after since no elections returns are expected today with voting hours expected to last until 6 p.m., the Comelec said.
According to the poll watchdog, the NBOC will reconvene on Tuesday, May 14.
The board’s official opening marks the start of the canvassing of votes.
The results to be counted by the NBOC will be based on the transmitted official canvassed results from the Provincial Board of Canvassers (PBOC).
These are turn based on the transmitted results of the Municipal/City Board of Canvassers (MBOC/CBOC).
