(Eagle News) — A magnitude-5.2 earthquake hit Davao Occidental on Tuesday, Jan. 29.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake struck 97 kilometers southeast of Sarangani at 1:26 p.m.
The quake had a depth of 123 kilometers and was tectonic in origin.
No significant damage was expected.
