(Eagle News)–“Usman” made landfall over Eastern Samar on Saturday, Dec. 29, but has weakened into a low pressure area.
The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said “Usman” made landfall over Borongan City at 6 a.m.
The LPA is in the vicinity of Llorente, Eastern Samar as of 7 a.m., PAGASA said.
According to PAGASA, moderate to heavy rain could still be expected over the Calabarzon, Mimaropa, and Bicol Regions, and over Aurora province, while light to moderate, with at times heavy rain could also be expected over Metro Manila, and over the rest of Central Luzon and the Visayas.
