“Day of Remembrance” video honoring PNP-SAF 44 heroes touches netizens’ hearts

(Eagle News) — The Philippine National Police (PNP) posted a video commending the “Gallant 44” of the PNP-Special Action Force (PNP-SAF) who were killed in Mamasapano, Maguindanao during the operation of Oplan Exodus two years ago.

On its official facebook page, the PNP featured the photos of the slain 44 PNP-SAF troopers, as well as some of the photos when the SAF heroes were brought to Manila from Maguindanao. (https://www.facebook.com/pnp.pio/videos/1417708974937021/)

Netizens saluted the “Heroes of the Nation” saying that true justice must be served.

“These should never happen again, responsible people should be jailed,” said one reaction to the video “A Day of Remembrance”

“Your bravery and supreme sacrifice rendered for the Filipinos to live in peace will never be forgotten and will always be remembered and praised as time passes by,” said another.

The PNP video honoring the PNP-SAF 44 as “Heroes of the Nation”  had garnered 242,000 views and 4,725 shares as of posting time.
