4.4-magnitude earthquake strikes off Davao Oriental

(Eagle News) — A 4.4-magnitude earthquake struck off Davao Oriental on Tuesday, April 25.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit at 7:20 a.m.

The epicenter was 113 kilometers southeast of Governor Generoso.

The depth of focus was 97 kilometers.

The following  instrumental intensities were reported:

Intensity I – Don Marcelino, Davao Occidental; Malungon, Sarangani;
City of General Santos, South Cotabato

No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.
