4.1-magnitude quake hits Masbate

 

(Eagle News)–A 4.1-magnitude earthquake struck Masbate on Wednesday, June 12.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 14 kilometers southwest of Batuan at 7:02 a.m.

The depth of focus was 6 kilometers.

No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.
