(Eagle News)–A 4.1-magnitude earthquake struck off Surigao del Sur early Thursday, Jan. 25.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit at 3:57 a.m.
Its epicenter was 65 kilometers northeast of Cortes.
The depth of focus was 10 kilometers.
No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.
