(Eagle News)-A 4.0-magnitude quake struck off Davao Occidental waters on Saturday, Dec. 28.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the epicenter of the quake, of tectonic origin, was 175 kilometers southeast of Jose Abad Santos at 4:38 p.m.
Depth of focus was 9 kilometers.
No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.
