4.0-magnitude earthquake strikes off Occidental Mindoro early Friday

(Eagle News)–A 4.0-magnitude earthquake struck off Occidental Mindoro early Friday, May 3.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit at 3:28 a.m.

Its epicenter was 21 kilometers northwest of Abra de Ilog.

The depth of focus was 105 kilometers.

No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.
