(Eagle News)–More traditional public utility jeepneys are allowed to ply Metro Manila streets starting today, Nov. 2.
The LTFRB said the 3936 additional PUJs are allowed to operate at the same time 35 more routes are opened.
According to Memorandum Circular No. 2020-068, these are:

The LTFRB said the PUJs with valid and existing Certificates of Public Convenience (CPC) or Applications for Extension of Validity are allowed to operate.
They should also be registered with a Personal Passenger Insurance Policy.
Instead of the special permit, a QR code will be given to each operator.
The QR code can be found in the official website of the LTFRB (https://ltfrb.gov.ph/).
The agency reminded the public that there would be no fare increases unless directed by the LTFRB.
It also reminded the public to follow safety and health protocols inside the vehicles.
