3.9-magnitude quake hits Davao Occidental

(Eagle News)–A 3.9-magnitude earthquake struck Davao Occidental on Wednesday, Jan. 8.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which hit  at 12:11 p.m., had its epicenter 41 kilometers southeast of Sarangani.

Depth of focus was 24 kilometers.

An instrumental Intensity I was recorded in General Santos City; Malungon, Sarangani.

No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.
