3.8-magnitude quake hits Davao Occidental

(Eagle News)–A 3.8-magnitude earthquake struck Davao Occidental on Monday, June 17.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 80 kilometers southeast of Jose Abad Santos at 10:02 a.m.

The depth of focus was 19 kilometers.

No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.
