3.7-magnitude quake hits Surigao del Sur

(Eagle News)–A 3.7-magnitude earthquake struck Surigao del Sur early Saturday, July 20.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, struck 6 kilometers southwest of San Francisco at 5:43 a.m.

An intensity IV was felt in Surigao City.

No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.
