3.5-magnitude quake hits Negros Occidental

(Eagle News)–A 3.5-magnitude quake struck Negros Occidental on Sunday, Jan. 5.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which took place at 6:24 a.m., had its epicenter 14 kilometers northeast of Sipalay.

Depth of focus was 65 kilometers.

No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.
