3.4-magnitude quake hits Southern Leyte

(Eagle News)–A 3.4-magnitude earthquake struck Southern Leyte on Wednesday, July 17.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 7 kilometers southwest of Hinunangan at 8:36 a.m.

Depth of focus was one kilometer.

No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.
