3.1-magnitude quake hits Surigao del Norte

(Eagle News)–A 3.1-magnitude earthquake hit Surigao del Norte on Saturday, May 25.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, struck 3 kilometers southwest of Santa Monica at 8:12 a.m.

The depth of focus was 13 kilometers.

No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.
