3.0-magnitude quake hits Occidental Mindoro

(Eagle News)-A 3.0-magnitude earthquake struck Occidental Mindoro early Saturday, Aug. 24.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 12 kilometers southeast of Paluan at 2:20 a.m.

Depth of focus was seven kilometers.

No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.
