2 witnesses vs. ‘narco generals’ now under WPP

(Eagle News)– Justice Vitaliano Aguirre II said on Wednesday that two individuals have been turned in Witness Protection Program (WPP) of the Department of Justice (DOJ) to testify on the alleged involvement of police generals in narcotics trade.

“We have WPP witnesses who are witnesses against the generals,” Aguirre said.
Two out of five generals are now facing administrative charges. They are National Capital Region Police Office chief Police Director Joel Pagdilao and former Quezon City Police District head Chief Supt. Edgardo Tinio.\
Other generals who have been linked by President Duterte are Chief Supt. Bernardo Diaz and retired generals Marcelo Garbo and Vicente Loot, who is current mayor of Daanbantayan town in Cebu.
All of the mentioned generals denied the branding.
