(Eagle News)–Over P6.8-million worth of illegal drugs were seized on Thursday, Aug. 22, from two suspects who were also killed in the buy-bust operation in Pasig.
The National Capital Region Police Office said Jalal “Bon Jovie” Salamoden and Sampiano “Sonny” Rason, alleged members of the gang of convicted druglord Amin Imam Buratong, died after they fought it out with authorities in front of a convenience store on Felix Avenue corner Kabayanihan Street in Barangay Dela Paz.
Apart from the P6.8-million worth of shabu, seized from the suspects were two pieces of plastic containing suspected shabu that was sold to the poseur-buyer at P450,000; three plastic containers of shabu, four P1,000 bills, one caliber .45 pistol, one caliber 9 MM pistol, a magazine of a caliber .45 pistol; a magazine of a caliber 9 mm, several rounds of ammunition and spent shells of the said caliber of firearms.
Also recovered was one motorcycle the suspects had used to try to get away.
