(Eagle News) — Dumating na sa Geneva, Switzerland ang labing anim (16) na miyembro ng delegasyon ng Pilipinas para dumalo sa isasagawang Universal Periodic Review ng United Nations Human Rights Council.
Pinangunahan nina Senador Alan Peter Cayetano at Deputy Executive Secretary Menardo Guevarra ang delegasyon upang idepensa ang war on drugs na inilunsad ng administrasyong Duterte.
Kabilang sa mga kasama sa delegasyon ang mga kinatawan mula sa Presidential Human Rights Committee, Deputy Speaker ng Kamara gayundin mula sa Department of Foreign Affairs, Department of Justice, Department of Health, Department of Interior and Local Government at Department of Social Welfare and Development.
Kasama rin nila Cayetano sa delegasyon ang mga kinatawan mula sa Philippine National Police, Armed Forces of the Philippines at Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency para ilahad ang tunay na datos sa mga nasasawi bunsod ng kampanya ng gobyerno kontra droga.
