INFOGRAPHICS: October is Tamaraw Conservation Month!

The Philippine Tamaraw is nationally and internationally recognized as a critically endangered animal. The Philippine government issued Proclamation No. 273 in a bid to conserve, protect and develop the country’s wildlife resources, especially the endemic species, for the benefit of present and future generations.

Included in this list of endemic species is the Tamaraw, which, as a biological resource, also offers immense ecological, educational, recreational, historical, and scientific value.
