A police report said one slide, one barrel, two magazines, one stabilizer, one slide stop, one barrel bushing, one stabilizer guide, 34 bullets and three empty cartridges were recovered from the tank in the residence of Emmanuel Roselio in Santo Niño, Pili.

Roselio, the police said, was the driver of the getaway motorcycle used in the killing of Batocabe.

According to the report, the gun, which had been used by Rolando Arimado, had been given to Roselio for it to be disposed of.

The parts were subjected to analysis by the Scene of the Crime operatives in Camarines Sur.

Daraga, Albay mayor Carlwyn Baldo was tagged by a witness and some of the suspects as the mastermind in the killing, which was described as politically motivated.
