Light rains to prevail over parts of PHL as northeast monsoon affects Luzon

(Eagle News)–Light rains are expected over some parts of the country as the northeast monsoon continues to affect Luzon.

In a weather advisory, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said cloudy skies with light rains are expected over Batanes, Cagayan, Nueva Vizcaya, Quirino, Isabela and Aurora.

Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains, on the other hand, will prevail over Abea, Benguet, Mt .Province, Ifugao, Kalinga, Apayao, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, La Union and Pangasinan.

PAGASA said light to strong winds coming from the northeast will be experienced in northern Luzon and Aurora province.

Coastal waters will be moderate to rough, PAGASA said.
