Millions expected in pro-Duterte rallies today and on Sunday

The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority on Saturday advised motorists to take alternative routes in Manila later in the day and on Sunday.

In an advisory, the MMDA said this was because heavy traffic was expected because of proRodrigo Duterte rallies to be held in the area.

The MMDA said around 1.5 million people are expected to gather en masse at the Quirino Grandstand later at 5 p.m., and at 2 p.m. on Sunday, February 26.

It said the rallyists aim to show their support for Duterte’s war against illegal drugs, poverty and corruption.
