(Eagle News)—Around 4000 Metro Manila policemen will be deployed to Luneta, Manila where several groups are expected to gather to commemorate the 46th anniversary of martial law declaration in the country.
In a statement, National Capital Region Police Office Director Guillermo Eleazar added his men would exercise maximum tolerance towards the rallyists.
“Filipinos are one in our advocacy for a democratic country that all are treated fairly and justly,” Eleazar said.
“The entire police force in Metro Manila is in sympathy with all those who shall observe this event,” he added.
