Duterte says Build, Build, Build program delayed

(Eagle News)–President Rodrigo Duterte on Thursday, Feb. 14, said there was a “delay” in the implementation of infrastructure projects under the Build, Build, Build program.

Under the program, the government aims to finance massive infrastructure projects during the time of President Duterte.

Some of the funds come partly from the implementation of the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion Law.

“Walang trabahante,” Duterte said of the reason there was a delay in the first place.

Earlier, Senator Joel Villanueva pointed out Filipinos were losing to Chinese in blue-collar jobs.

He urged the Bureau of Immigration to coordinate with the Department of Labor and Employment in the issuance of work permits to foreign workers.

The BI later announced more stringent requirements for the issuance of work permits to foreigners.
