Criminal raps to be filed vs suspects in San Fernando, Cebu Mayor Reluya ambush

(Eagle News) – Criminal charges are slated to be filed against a former village councilor and another for their alleged roles in the ambush of San Fernando, Cebu Mayor Lakambini Reluya.

To be charged with murder and attempted murder were Jerome Labitad and former Maghaway, Talisay City village councilor Felix Abacajan Jr.

The two are still at large.

Reluya and several others were on board a vehicle in Talisay when they were ambushed by unidentified men on Jan. 22.

Reluya survived the ambush but her husband, Ricardo Reluya, and two others died.
