(Eagle News)–The Palace released pictures and a video of President Rodrigo Duterte in a series of activities on Thursday, Oct. 4, to quash rumors he had been hospitalized on Wednesday, Oct. 3.
In the pictures released by Special Assistant to the President Bong Go, Duterte was seen meeting with former President Fidel Ramos.
In a video posted by Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque, Duterte was seen shaking hands with some military officials as he prepared to supervise a command conference.
Rumors circulated Duterte had been hospitalized after he skipped a Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corp. event in Malacañang.
But Roque said the President merely took the day off following a hectic schedule.
