(Eagle News)–A yellow alert is in effect over the Luzon grid on Tuesday, June 4.
The National Grid Corporation of the Philippines said the alert, which means reserves do not meet the required minimum levels, is in effect from 10 a.m .to 4 p.m.
Available capacity is at 11,764 megawatts, while peak demand was at 10,831 MW.
“Details on the cause to be announced by the Department of Energy (DOE) later in the day,” the NGCP said.
