(Eagle News)–A yellow alert is in effect over the Luzon grid on Saturday, June 22.
The National Grid Corporation of the Philippines said the alert, which means reserves do not meet required levels, is in effect from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Available capacity is at 11095 MW.
Peak demand is at 10300 MW.
“Details on the cause (will) be announced by the Department of Energy (DOE) later in the day,” the NGCP said.
