#WalangPasok: Classes on Monday, Tuesday suspended in Albay due to “Tisoy”

(Eagle News) — Classes on Monday, Dec. 2, and Tuesday, Dec. 3, are suspended in Albay as the province braces for “Tisoy.”

Gov. Al Francis Bichara made the announcement in his official Facebook account.

He said the suspension applies to all levels in both public and private schools.

The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said Typhoon “Kammuri” was almost stationary but is still forecast to enter the Philippine Area of Responsibility between Saturday, Nov. 30, and Sunday, Dec. 1.

The weather bureau said once “Kammuri” enters PAR, it will be named “Tisoy.”

PAGASA said “Tisoy” is expected to make landfall in the Bicol region.
