(Eagle News)–A thunderstorm advisory has been hoisted over parts of Mindanao.
The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said moderate to heavy rainshowers with lightning and strong winds due to thunderstorms are expected over Zamboanga del Sur, Zamboanga City and Davao Oriental within one to two hours.
These conditions are being experienced in Kitcharao, Jabonga in Agusan del Norte; Malimono, Mainit, Sison in Surigao del Norte; Olutanga, Talusan, Mabuhay, Alicia, Payao in Zamboanga Sibugay; and in Sibuco, Sirawai, Siocon, Baliguian, Sindangan, Jose Dalman in Zamboanga del Norte.
“All are advised to take precautionary measures against the impact associated with these hazards which include flash floods and landslides,” PAGASA said.
