(Eagle News)–A thunderstorm advisory has been hoisted over Mindanao.
The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said moderate to heavy rainshowers with lightning and strong winds due to thunderstorms are expected over Maguindanao and North Cotabato within one to two hours.
These conditions are being experienced in Zamboanga del Sur; in Labason, Salug, Godod, Gutalac in Zamboanga del Norte; Bukidnon; Lanao del Sur; Lanao del Norte; Misamis Occidental; Davao City; Davao del Norte; Davao de Oro; Boston, Cateel, Gov.Generoso in Davao Oriental; Don Marcelino, Jose Abad Santos in Davao Occidental; Agusan del Sur; Bislig, Lingig in Surigao del Sur; Sultan Kudarat; South Cotabato; and in Alabel and Malapatan in Sarangani.
“All are advised to take precautionary measures against the impact associated with these hazards which include flash floods and landslides,” PAGASA said.
