(Eagle News)–A Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal No. 1 has been hoisted over several areas, as Typhoon “Tisoy” entered the Philippine Area of Responsibility. The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said the signal is hoisted over eastern Samar and the eastern section of Northern Samar, particularly Laoang, Palapag, Mapanas, Gamay, Lapinig, Catubig and Las Navas. (Eagle News) — A rainfall advisory has been hoisted over portions of Ilocos Sur due to the northeast monsoon. The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said moderate to heavy rains are expected over  Vigan City, Sta. Catalina, Caoayan and San Ildefonso. The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said moderate to heavy rains are expected over portions of Dilasag and Casiguran and Aurora within an hour.
