(Eagle News)–Tropical Depression “Usman” has slightly intensified as it continues to move west-northwestward. (Eagle News)—–The low-pressure area east of Mindanao has developed into a Tropical Depression and has  entered the Philippine Area of Responsibility. “Tomas” weakens into low pressure area

(Eagle News) — Tropical Depression “Tomas” has weakened into a low pressure area. But the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said sea travel remains risky over the northern seaboard of Northern Luzon. “Tomas” said this was due to “rough to very rough seas associated with the ongoing surge of the northeast monsoon.” As of 2 a.m.,  the center of “Tomas” was located 1,050 kilometers east of Basco, Batanes.
