Villar still leads Senate race a week after the polls

(Eagle News)–Senator Cynthia Villar continued to lead the Senate race on Monday, May 20, based on partial and unofficial results from the Commission on Elections transparency server. Villar had 25,116,310 votes as of 11:17 a.m., over 3 million votes more than Grace Poe’s 21,911,481 votes. Bong Go was still in third place, with 20,453,347 votes. Reelectionist senator Villar widens lead in Senate race

(Eagle News)–Reelectionist senator Cynthia Villar further widened her lead over her closest rival, another reelectionist senator Grace Poe, in the senatorial race on Friday, May 17, with 97.88 percent of nationwide election returns canvassed.
