OSLO, Norway (AFP) – A wooden bridge collapsed in southern Norway on Monday, sending a car and truck hurtling into a river, police said. Six dead after house beside QC river collapses

(Eagle News)–Six men were killed after a house in Quezon City collapsed on Friday, Dec. 14. Authorities said Nilo Mangoso, Donald Conde, Benito Añora, Ryan Regueros, Johnny Gabin and Reymark Diestro were having a drinking session on the rooftop of the house in Barangay Bahay Toro when the incident took place. The house was reportedly beside a river. Authorities are still investigating the incident.

Alarm Level 1 hoisted over Marikina River

(Eagle News)–Alarm Level 1 has been hoisted  over Marikina River. The Marikina City Rescue 161 said water levels have reached 15 meters as of 7:07 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 15. This means residents near the river should prepare to evacuate. Rains continue to pound parts of the country as “Ompong” heads toward Apayao and Ilocos Norte.
