In these photos, fire can be seen engulfing the Gaisano Mall in General Santos City after the 6.3 magnitude quake that hit North Cotabato on Wednesday night, Oct. 16, which was felt at intensity 5 in General Santos City. (Eagle News)–A 3.3-magnitude earthquake struck off Basilan on Wednesday, Oct. 16. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit 74 kilometers southeast of Tuburan at 2:59 a.m. Depth of focus was three kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.
4.2-magnitude quake strikes off Davao Occidental
(Eagle News)–A 4.2-magnitude earthquake struck off Davao Occidental on Tuesday, Oct. 15. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 126 kilometers southeast of Jose Abad Santos at 9:37 a.m. Depth of focus was 33 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.

(Eagle News)–A 4.1-magnitude earthquake struck off Zamboanga del Sur on Monday, Oct. 14. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 34 kilometers southeast of Tabina at 8:48 a.m. Depth of focus was 14 kilometers. An intensity II was reported in Cotabato City. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.
3.0-magnitude quake hits Ilocos Norte
(Eagle News)–A 3.0-magnitude earthquake struck Ilocos Norte on Friday, Oct. 11. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 13 kilometers northeast of Carasi at 7:57 p.m. Depth of focus was one kilometer. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 113 kilometers southeast of Sarangani at 4:19 a.m. Depth of focus was 137 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology nd Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, struck 214 kilometers southwest of Sarangani at 1130 p.m. Depth of focus was 426 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks are expected.
3.4-magnitude quake strikes off Davao Occidental
(Eagle News)–A 3.4-magnitude earthquake struck off Davao Occidental on Saturday, Oct. 5. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 52 kilometers southwest of Sarangani at 7:22 a.m. Depth of focus of the quake was 259 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.
