DOJ: Trece Martires, Cavite Mayor De Sagun cleared of involvement in vice mayor’s murder

(Eagle News)–The Department of Justice has cleared Trece Martires, Cavite Mayor Melandres De Sagun of the murder of Vice Mayor Alexander Lubigan. Justice Undersecretary Markk Perete said the complaints for murder against Luis Abad Jr. and Ronel Bersamina were also dismissed. Main gunman in Batocabe slay surrenders

(Eagle News)-The main gunman in the killing of Rep. Rodel Batocabe has surrendered to the authorities. Henry Yuson, a former New People’s Army member, surrendered to the military in Albay on Thursday afternoon. (Eagle News)—President Rodrigo Duterte is slated to visit the wake of Rep. Rodel Batocabe, who was killed in Albay over the weekend.
