PNP No. 3 man retires

QUEZON City, Philippines (Eagle News) –The third man in Philippine National Police chain of command, Police Deputy Director-General Benjamin Magalong retires from service in a retirement honor ceremony held at Camp Crame. Magalong graduated as a magna cum laude in the Philippine Military Academy’s Sandigan Class of 1982. His long service saw him heading the PNP Board of Inquiry into the Mamasapano incident. No sealing of guns this holiday season, says PNP

MANILA, Philippines (Eagle News) — The Philippine National Police announced that there would be no sealing of guns this holiday season because they believe policemen are “disciplined and responsible enough.” The PNP also clarified that that the non-sealing of guns has nothing to do with the war on illegal drugs. PNP prepares for Black Friday protest of anti-Marcos activists
