Rainfall advisory hoisted over S. Luzon

(Eagle News)–A rainfall advisory has been hoisted over Southern Luzon. The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services said light to moderate to at times heavy rains are being experienced in Camarines Sur, Albay, Masbate, Catanduanes, Oriental Mindoro and Romblon. He said the conditions  may continue for 1 to 3 hours. “All are advised to take precautionary measures against possible floods in low lying areas, flashfloods and landslides in mountainous areas,” PAGASA said.

LPA east of Catanduanes develops into tropical depression Hanna; monsoon rains still to affect country

PAGASA hoists heavy rainfall warning over Metro Manila, nearby areas

(Eagle News)–A heavy rainfall warning has been hoisted over Metro Manila and nearby areas. The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said a yellow warning alert has been hoisted in MetroManila and Cavite. Flooding is expected in flood-prone areas. The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said moderate to heavy rains are expected over Pangasinan, in Sual and Labrador, in an hour.
