(Eagle News)—Comedian Arnell Ignacio has resigned as deputy administrator at the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration. The reason for Ignacio’s resignation was so far unclear. Ignacio has said he would hold a press conference on the issue. The comedian, a staunch supporter of President Rodrigo Duterte, was appointed to the OWWA post on Jan. 23, 2018.
