(Eagle News)–A 4.0-magnitude earthquake struck off Occidental Mindoro early Friday, May 3. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit at 3:28 a.m. Its epicenter was 21 kilometers northwest of Abra de Ilog. The depth of focus was 105 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which had its epicenter 22 kilometers northwest of Paluan, struck at 1:12 p.m. It had a depth of nine kilometers.
