(Eagle News) — COVID-19 cases in the Philippines climbed to 2,206,021 on Saturday, Sept. 11, after the Department of Health reported a record-high of 26,303 more cases. The additional cases shattered Thursday’s record of 22,820 additional cases. According to the DOH, of the total cases, 185,706 are active. (Eagle News)–Detected COVID-19 cases in the Philippines are now at 1543281 after the Department of Health reported 6216 additional cases. Of the total cases, 54401 were active. Of these, 93.4 percent were mild, 1.2 percent asymptomatic, 2.3 percent were severe, 1.4 percent critical, and 1.62 percent were moderate. (Eagle News)- The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) on Thursday, April 16, reported a total of 757 confirmed cases of COVID-19 involving Filipinos overseas. “[A] total of 757 cases among our nationals abroad were recorded by the DFA today (April 16) based on reports from its Foreign Service posts”, the department said in a statement.
